David is a registered patent attorney whose varied legal experience spans a range from high-stakes pharmaceutical patent litigation at boutique IP law firms in Toronto, Canada, to preparing cutting-edge technology patents for some of Israel’s largest IP firms. Prior to becoming an attorney, David worked for a Fortune 500 software company, initially providing technical support and later as a software developer. Desiring something more, David attended law school in Toronto and immediately grew fond of patent law. After graduating, he spent the next five years immersed in drug patents and government lobby activities.
David continued his career in Israel where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the US and Israel for a diverse set of clients from breakthrough startups to large defense companies. During this time, he developed an impressive knowledge of blockchain protocols, cybersecurity, radio frequency detection and missile homing systems. He also advised and drafted legal opinions for some of Israel’s biggest venture capital firms.
Outside of work, David enjoys travelling, being outdoors, scuba diving, and helping his wife raise their five kids. David currently resides in snowy Michigan, but dreams of one day moving to sunny Florida.
